lyrics

I've ran out of breath now
Can't you tell my lungs are empty after hearing me manically speaking
Oh how endearing to be so sincere that yourself is all that you're fearing
I have been locked inside my nicotine vacuum for a while now self critiquing
I'd look outside but I told myself there would be no peeking (what's the meaning)
Still the sun might sneak in or the sound of the birds with all of their shrieking
Occasionally the comfort of an old floor board creaking
As I lie in the dirty bed I can't sleep in
From the early morning
Right through to the latest evening

Let's play hide & seek
I bet that you can't find me
Not me no

So demotivated in a constant state of vegetative pity shame and sorrow
If only I could detonate and feel aggravated by something other than the concept of tomorrow
But I don't want to wallow no more I don't think I could swallow life its laws outside of these four walls
I am going to lock the door throw away the key I can't let any of it bother me
I feel so full up of it all so why the f*** does my stomach always feel so hollow
If I could stand to leave my cage I'd have to ask if you have a good feeling I could possibly borrow
It's a tremolo going through my mind, all of the time and it's making me feel so small
If the world is round, where's the point to it all

This is me but, this ain't who I wanna be
and this is me but, this ain't who I've always been
And these are my eyes but they would rather be blind than see what they've already seen
This is the world but this ain't no kind of modern mature society

So let's play hide & seek
I bet that you can't find me
